Another fantastic find! Still in the original plastic, with the label! New, old stock, stored and never used baby comforter from the 60's or possibly the early 70's. The comforter is made of a soft nylon, lined in a flannelette type fabric. It is a high-loft batting of dacron fiber fill, which should hold up well to being washed.
I know that you really don't see zipper comforters for babies much anymore, and to find one that is new and unused is amazing! You can unzip and use as a blanket or to dress up the crib when baby is not sleeping (experts don't approve of putting anything loose in the crib with infants anymore). If you have a doll collection, this would be a great vintage addition.
