This cable is designed to pair with 5-pin switches featuring only one cable when 2 cables are needed. The splitter is necessary if the switch you order has one cable but 2 cables are needed to power both foot and head motors. One end is a 5-pin female that splits into (2) 5-pin males.
Often this item is paired with the MLSK35 series when necessary.
