Condition: Lovely Good condition, with no splits or solder repairs, definitely no wear holes and no nasty knocks or dents, really nothing much at all and a very nice example. Most importantly the fine inlaid made in Melchior Filigree Scan with 999” silver plated, decoration is still in great condition, nice and sharp. The interior decoration retain silver-plating is definitely original and still virtually 100% still intact. Excellent quality with good weight and beautifully decorated. The Tea Glass Holders are essentially perfect, no visible wear according to their age. Silver plating retains beautiful luster throughout. The best indication of condition is to study the pictures carefully.

This spectacular Russian Silver plated JEWELERY SOVIET ART, FILIGREE SCAN MELCHIOR with DEEP SILVERING TECHNIQUES TEA GLASS HOLDERS (Podstakannik- (Подстаканник), was created for legendary milestone of Soviet Russia Era and was made with high quality jewelry Technic. Represent the period of "Russian Soviet Modern Art", were Romantics, Realists and Impressionists. Beautiful Russian tea glass holder, also known as Podstakannik (Подстаканник), made in Melchior Filigree Scan and 999” silver plated. Russian masterly jewelry by metal filigree Tea Cup Holder. Feature delicate swirling openwork and window cutouts. Appear to be silver plate or a lower grade silver. They are in vintage condition and show some signs of age/use, including tarnish - please see photos. Each holder measures approximately 3.75"h at handle, 2.75"in diameter at rim, and weighs approximately 100 gram / 3.5oz. Stamped on the bottom by Cyrillic, of the price is eleven Rubles and an unidentified Soviet hallmark. Each holder is also stamped on the bottom with a number, varying from piece to piece - please see pictures.
