product name:
Hundred grid board, Hundred grid knife, guide board, grid divider
Product specifications:
1mm11 blade, four in one
use
The instrument is mainly suitable for the determination of the adhesion of organic coatings by the cross-cut method. It is not only suitable for laboratories, but also for construction sites under various conditions.
Working principle and scope of application
This instrument cuts and penetrates the coating as a grid pattern with a tool of a certain specification, and the finished pattern is divided into six categories to evaluate the adhesion effect of the coating separated from the substrate.
1. It is suitable for measuring the adhesion strength of the paint film on the substrate with a thickness of less than 250mm on the surface of plastic and wood furniture.
2. It is suitable for the strong and weak fastness of adhesion on the surface of sprayed or electroplated products or the strength of the mutual combination of the primer.
The main technical parameters:
1. The guide gauge is designed and manufactured according to BS3962-6 and GB4893.4-85 standards, which is convenient and simple.
2. Cut spacing: 1mm,
3. Cut length: 25mm,
4. Number of cut marks: 11,
Operation method
1. The test piece must be prepared according to ISOR1514 and ISO2828.
2. Place the test piece on a flat plate with sufficient hardness.
3. Hold the guide gauge (100 grid board) so that the bottom surface is completely flush with the surface of the finished surface coating.
4. Use a uniform force to press the one-hundred grid board, and use a sharp blade to cut smoothly without shaking at a cutting speed of 20-50mm/S.
5. Rotate the 100-grid plate by 90 degrees, and repeat the above operations on the cut cut to form a grid pattern.
6. Use a soft brush to clean up the scratched bristles and use the grid pattern on the surface of the test piece.
7. Use a tape that meets the standard to stick to the surface of the grid and tear off the tape to observe the adhesion strength of the coating on the surface.
Precautions
1. All cuts should penetrate the coating, but not too deep into the substrate.
2. If the coating is too thick and hard to penetrate the substrate, the test is invalid, but it should be stated in the test report.
3. The test tape must be a 600 test special tape produced by 3M in the United States. Stick the tape on the entire grid, and then tear it off at a small angle. The result can be obtained according to the ratio of the glued area on the surface of the paint film.
4. The test should be carried out at a temperature of 23±2℃ and a relative humidity of 50±5%.
