FASHIONED OF A MAUVE SILK SATIN AND THIS GOWN IS BY COUTURE DESIGNER ELISE PORET.
SOLD AS IT WAS ACQUIRED. FASHIONED WITH A DRAPED DROP WAIST WITH GATHERING AT ONE SIDE WITH OPPOSITE SIDE HAVING A SNAP CLOSURE WITH BEAUTIFUL SEED AND SUGAR BUGLE BEADING TRAVELING FROM THE WAIST UP TO THE SHOULDER.
FLORALS IN MARQUIS SHAPED BEADING WITH MATCHING BEADING ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE BENEATH THE RUCHING IN A LARGE FLORAL SPRAY WITH BEADING TRAVELING IN THREE LINES VERTICALLY DOWN.
INTERIOR HAS A THIN SILK BUILT IN SLIP AND FALLS FULL LENGTH.
CONDITION: SOLD AS IT WAS ACQUIRED, NOTE THE CONDITION. THE INNER LINING IS HEAVILY BROKEN BENEATH THE ARMS WITH STAINING AND WEAKNESS SEEN, SHATTERING TO THE SILK OF THE UNDERARM FULLY AROUND ONLY, THE REMAINDER OF THE BODY IS STRONG AND INTACT.
THE SHOULDERS OF THE EXTERIOR HAVE SMALL FRAY ON THE LEFT SIDE WITH ABSENT SNAPS. THE RIGHT SIDE WHICH HAS THE BEADING HAS MORE EXTENSIVE FRAYING WITH LOSS OF BEADING SEEN AT THAT POINT. BEADED SIDE PANEL HAS COME UNSTITCHED AND NEEDS STITCHING BACK.
THERE ARE TWO SMALL BROWN STAINS ON THE SIDE SKIRTING, NOTE THE IMAGES. IF I WERE TO RESTORE THIS PIECE I WOULD KEEP THE TABARD STYLE TOP MINUS THE SLIP.
