This charming MCM Stangl Pottery pitcher features the Colonial design with an earthy color palette of antiqued rust, yellow and hints of orange. The Stangl name appears on the bottom along with #1388 and USA.

A wonderful example of Stangl pottery produced in the 1950s, by November 1978 Stangl Pottery ceased manufacturing and closed forever, signaling the end of a truly unique American folk art product.

The pitcher measures approximately 6 1/2" tall, 8 1/2" from spout to end of handle, 4 7/8" across the top with a 4 1/2" base circumference.

The pitcher has been well cared for and is in excellent vintage preowned condition with no cracks, chips or repairs. The inside and the bottom are intact and show no signs of wear. There are some tiny bubble pops from the firing process which happened with vintage pottery back in the day but these do not distract visually or functionally.
