This Chilmark Fine Pewter figurine, titled "False Face" by Donald Jack Polland, numbered 06/500, dated 1992. A rare find for any collector!

 

The artist, Donald Jack Polland (1932-2003), was an American Postwar & Contemporary sculptor. His work is often featured at auction and has become increasingly sought since his passing. Made in the United States out of high-quality pewter, featuring intricate details that truly bring life to the piece. 

 

- Stands approximately 7” tall and sits on an oblong wooden base - approximately 6.5” long
- Chilmark brand
- Constructed of fine pewter, known for its durability and resistance to rust and tarnishing
- Number 6 of 500 made, making it a valuable addition to any collection.

It has not been modified in any way and is in excellent pre-owned condition. See photos for accurate depiction of its condition.
