A stunning set in very good condition. This is a reluctant sell and will sit pride of place amongst my other Dickens for now!

Both books suffer with similar condition issues: cracks the spine (especially notable on volume 1 [see photo 1], but not significant. Volume 1 in general is a little looser (than 2) at spine. The beautiful deckle-edged pages are rough cut and in places are a bit tatty (see photo 12, but common issue given style). There are a handful of examples of personalisation (in pencil) to tissue guards (of colour plates), but very minor and possibly removable (not attempted). Finally, although every colour plate is present (all 24), some have markings around edges (see photo 13 for example). All in all, very good condition set. These are the gold lettered variation, which in my opinion is far more attractive that the black texted spine.

Best of luck with any offers 👍 (but I'm reluctant to sell, so not much wriggle room with these).

Note: all books are delivered in bubble wrap and high quality brown paper for protection - postage cost slightly higher than standard courier costs to absorb this extra expense: I hope you understand.
