This is a rare CZ variety! It is a Canal Zone UXC2, the 1c on 5c airmail postal card of 1963, VF and in great condition, but with a known variety of a white area over the 1st A in CANAL, which is United Postal Stationery Society (UPSS #SA3a. Now, only 48,000 of the underlying UXC2 were issued in the 1st place, and only a fraction have the variety, so this is quite uncommon, as reflected in the $30 catalog value in the UPSS catalog, compared to the $8 Scott value for the ordinary UXC2. A great addition to a specialist Canal Zone collection.
