The model is the Gryphon GD4590-BK-B, one of the latest models in a very popular and long running range, replacing the Gryphon GD4400. It is especially good for reading small codes from any media including LCD and phone screens ! It is offered as a complete plug-and-play kit of scanner and USB cable. As usual, the Datalogic build quality of this scanner is superb and performance can only be described as SENSATIONAL ! The scanner WORKS STRAIGHT OUT OF THE BOX. Attach the USB cable from base to computer, and the characters from the barcode appear on screen as if they had been typed in, so any application that will accept typed characters will work with this scanner !
