TH400 TRANSMISSION LOCKING DIP STICK AND FILLER TUBE

The fluid level of your transmission is critical to its correct operation and longevity. Without the correct amount of fluid you transmission is will fail.

A common question that is asked by many car owners is "how much fluid do I put in my transmission?" The only correct answer for the TH400 transmission is "When your dipstick shows full, when checked in PARK with the engine idling".

There are many aftermarket flexible dipsticks on the market that look great, but they are inaccurate and actually contribute to transmission failure due to inaccurate readings.

Too much fluid in your transmission will result in the excess oil coming out of the transmission and being a fire hazard, as well as resulting in the aeration of the fluid compromising the effectiveness of the hydraulic function of the transmission. Too little fluid and the transmissions hydraulic system will be compromised resulting in clutch slip.

This solid steel tube dip stick is calibrated correctly right out of the box and will give you a 100% accurate reading. The outer tube is clear zinc coated to prevent rust and the inner stick has a cam lock handle that secures the stick in the tube.

This dipstick is designed to be mounted using one of the bell housing bolts so that it is securely held in the transmission. It also comes with a new rubber case seal to ensure leak free use.

This dip stick will suit both OEM TH400 cases and aftermarket Reid, ATI, BTE, TSI and other cases.
