BROADWAY RARITY!!! “THE FIG LEAVES ARE FALLING” DEMO LP W/COA!

Here’s another one you won’t find anywhere else! The demo LP for potential backers of the legendary flop musical, “The Fig Leaves Are Falling.”

This show ran for only four performances on Broadway in 1969.

It was the concotion of Allan Sherman, who sold millions of copies of the “My Son the Folksinger” album earlier in the 60’s. The plot was inspired by Sherman’s divorce from his wife of 21 years.  Dorothy Loudon played a version of her and the critics loved her == hated the show.  Because of its failure, an Original Cast LP was NOT issued at the time. though a CD of it was released decades later.  In short, this is a one-of-a-kind “treasure” for the Broadway collector.

**PLEASE NOTE: The original stars of this production, Dorothy Loudon and Barry Nelson, are NOT heard on this Demo LP.

Instead, anonymous but gifted studio session singers do the vocalizing.**

A Certificate of Authenticity (COA) is provided.
