On September 12th, 1964 a 17 year old young lady named Millie, went to North station in Boston Mass. to greet The Beatles arrival, for a concert they were to perform at Boston Garden that evening. Millie was lucky enough to get George Harrison to sign one of her Beatles bubblegum cards. The card is in beautiful condition signed in pen. Inscribed -To Millie The Beatles George Harrison. He must have been her fave Beatle because this #36 card has George on the opposite side. With the card is her movie Ticket and Beatles button she wore for “A Hard Day’s Night” she saw on March 14, 1964 at the Paramount Theater in Boston earlier that year. Completing this amazing collection is the original newspaper story covering the concert! Plus two new photos from the concert too. I purchased these items from her estate after her passing at the age of 75 in 2022. Millie’s niece found them in a shoebox in the attic of her family home. Along with this collection im including handwritten info about Millie, copies of a few newspaper clips that Millie had in a scrapbook as well and my correspondence with the people who handled the estate. Although the provenance of the autograph and other items are really good, I had a friend of mine who has been in the autograph business for almost 50 years (now retired) examine the card. In his opinion it is authentic and wrote me a document through his company AWA Inc. Some of the concert ticket holders had access to the Beatles press conference before the show, and I believe Millie more than likely got to attend, and it was there she probably got Harrison to sign the card. So there you have it. An amazing piece of Beatles history. Selling AS IS as a vintage collection. No returns. Thanks for looking!!
