19th Century English Staffordshire Squat Jug Hand Painted Florals on Blue 

               A charming small jug or large cup with handle.   I do believe this is English in origin.  Pretty hand painted florals on blue background earthenware.   It has a dark purple bottom which makes it appear that the florals and reed grass are coming from a dark pond.  Gold rim and base and on handle. Measures 3 1/2 inch height and 3 1/8 inch across at the top.   No marks on base.  

  No chips or cracks.  Does have some crazing and light interior darkening in spots. A few spots of enamel loss.  Gold is in good shape.   Please see photos. It is a very pretty Victorian cup or jug!
