Here is a fantastic C Trumpet from CarolBrass! It has a large 5.25 inch bell, sterling silver leadpipe, three main tuning slides (round, D-shape with brace and D-shape without brace), each with its own unique feel and response. 2 sets of finger buttons (silver and dark pearl). Overall finish is a satin silver with bright silver inside the bell and on some parts (receiver, water keys, valve caps). There are a few tiny dings in the bell and a few light scratches.
The tone and intonation of this C trumpet are just superb. 4th space E can be played open, and 4th line D can be played 1st valve. No need for alternate fingerings with this horn. Just a pleasure to play. I recommend a short shank mouthpiece with this instrument for the finest intonation (i.e., Monette C trumpet mouthpiece, Austin Custom Brass short-shank mouthpiece, etc). I am not including a mouthpiece since it is such a personal choice. Everyone who tried this horn just loves it!
