Views and criticism

He is a publicist considered by such political scientists as Davod Ost and Dariusz Galasiński to be of the extreme right.  The journalist has a clearly hostile attitude towards the LGBT minority.  In terms of religious worldview, Cejrowski declares himself a Catholic;   in 2014, he proposed that Poland adopt Catholicism as the official religion of the Republic of Poland. He is also a supporter of a total ban on abortion and an opponent of sexual education and feminist trends.

In economic matters, he describes himself as a liberal, a supporter of low taxes and little state interference in the lives of citizens (including forms of public support). He also declares himself an enemy of all people belonging to political options other than the right-wing . In 1999, he was sentenced by a court to a fine of PLN 3,000 for calling President Aleksander Kwasniewski a "communist apparatchik", "another Yeltsin who gets drunk with public money" and a "primitive fool and a drunkard", with which expressions, according to the court, he insulted his head of states. His statements were also directed towards liberal adversaries. A few days before the second round of the presidential elections in Poland in 2015, Cejrowski published a spot on You Tube in which he tore up the poster of candidate Bronislaw Komorowski, threw the shreds into the trash and appealed to "not choose garbage". He openly manifests hostility towards the European Union:   he stated, among others: "I hate this Soviet scum that is the European Union".  In June 2017, Cejrowski said about the President of the European Council, Donald Tusk, that he "loves Poland, but from the back, that is, to milk it, just like you love a cow from the back"; this statement was condemned by some journalists. Wojciech Cejrowski's views, which were for show purposes, were perceived by another right-wing publicist, Mariusz Max Kolonka, as a form of "tabloid populism", while Michal Bilewicz commented on their articulation on TVP Info as a journalistic "lesson in contempt". In May 2019, he supported the KORWIN Braun Liroy Nationalist Confederation in the European Parliament elections.

In September 2019, he opposed the construction of 5G network masts in Poland, arguing that the high prison sentences imposed by Israel for building masts were untrue.

Shortly after the Russian aggression againsy Ukraine in 2022, Cejrowski, in one of his radio programs, blamed US President Joe Biden for these events , claiming that Russian President Vladimir Putin was provoked by him to undertake the attack, and criticized aid to the Ukrainian population. In response to the protests of people outraged by this statement, the Teatr im. Stefan Jaracz canceled the traveler's planned performances.  At the same time, the weekly "Subtropical Broadcast" suddenly disappeared from the air of Program III of Polish Radio.  When asked whether the decision to suspend this series was made due to Cejrowski's attitude towards the war, the Radio spokeswoman did not answer directly, only stating that "Trójka broadcasts programs related to the current situation."

Private life

He is the son of Stanislaw Cejrowski - animator and jazz activist .

His first wife was journalist and traveler Beata Pawlikowska, with whom he married in a church in 1994. However, the marriage was not registered at the registry office.   In 1996, Cejrowski declared himself a bachelor.  In 2004, Pawlikowska announced through the media that she was no longer associated with Cejrowski. The church wedding was recognized by the bishop's court as invalid.

He is currently married to journalist and Catholic activist Joanna Najfeld.   According to reports in the Polish press, the couple got married in a church at the end of April 2010 in Pelplin.  However, according to the Texas wedding registry, the couple also got married on September 23, 2011 in Dallas.

Cejrowski stays outside Poland for most of the year; in 2008 he announced that he was giving up his Polish citizenship.  He lives in Fort Worth (Dallas metropolitan area), Texas, has a ranch in Arizona, a house in Mexico City in the Coyoacan district and a property in Ecuador.  In Poland, in Pomerania, he owns a farm.
