This listing is for a model of a Melbourne CABLE TRAM made by Rosenhain and Lipmann in Australia in 1975, for a retail release in the USA. The Old Timers series appears not to have been used in cereal in Australia and are quite uncommon here. They were later released in the Kit-O-Rama packs in Australia. The subject of this kit really stamps R&L as a Melbourne company, one of the reasons I got back into collecting their toys again. This item has “VICTORIA ST.” embossed into the side of the carriage.
