The stator and rotor are components of a motorcycle's charging system. The stator is a stationary coil of wire that is mounted inside the engine case. It is responsible for generating the alternating current (AC) needed to power the motorcycle's electrical system and charge the battery. The rotor is a magnet attached to the crankshaft of the engine. As the crankshaft rotates, it turns the rotor, which causes a current to be induced in the stator.
