This guitar is super cool. If you want a guitar with a piece of EVH history, this is it. Did you know that this model was EVH's first guitar? Not a bad first guitar!
As for the guitar itself, the action is high on the upper frets. I would suggest having the neck shimmed to raise the level of the neck to a point where it's more comfortable to play.
At some point in it's life, this guitar had a vertical split at the paddle, top part of the headstock and was professionally repaired with dowels and glued back together.
