The ad has a map of the C&O’s routes. Below is a painting of Chessie, the Chesapeake & Ohio’s ‘sleeps like a kitten’ mascot. Above is a photo of a young family looking at travel brochures. 

Ad text starts “It’s fun to plan a Chessie Travel Package” and goes on about the ‘Chessie Corridor’ running from Chicago to New York.

This ad is full page, approx. 7” x 10”, carefully removed from an actual 1940 magazine.
