Here we have a set of three stunning Royal Cauldon (England) earthenware 11.25" chargers/cabinet plates/very large dinner plates in the hand-painted "Flower Series" pattern. Scalloped edge. Ivory heavily-embossed scrolls rim. Very rare embossment pattern and charger size. Believe that the flowers depicted include yellow Snapdragon, purple and yellow thistle-type flower, and blue and burgundy morning glory. We have lots of fabulous English embossed earthenware pieces in our store, to which we add new inventory daily, and we're always happy to combine shipping at actual cost.

Condition: Our photographs reveal the condition best -- please enlarge and zoom in on them, and examine them carefully. Very clean and fresh pieces, vividly colored, that display beautifully. None have cracks, silver/gray utensil marks, stains, or heavy scratches. All have a scattering of very light, completely colorless, fine scratches to the glaze, the kind that show up when the piece is held up at just the right angle to a bright source of direct light. In addition, the yellow floral plate has one single, very well-concealed shallow chip on the rim to the back that doesn't show from the front -- see the collage photo showing the single chip from four angles. The blue & burgundy morning glory plate has light, unstained crazing to the front and back, as well as a small shallow chip to the back at the rim that doesn't show from the front. The purple and yellow thistle-type flower has a bit of crazing on the back of the plate, as well as an old softened fleabite along the rim on the back of the plate that doesn't show from the front.
