A bit larger and comfortable flipper combined with ball bearing driven axel ensures a smooth blade opening.  Scales made of G10 have textured surface for a confident grip.  At its considerable size the knife has a relatively small weight and will serve as an ideal city assistant.

D2 steel - D2 is very wear resistant but not as tough as lower alloyed steels. The mechanical properties of D2 are very sensitive to heat treatment. It is widely used for the production of shear blades, planer blades,industrial cutting tools and used for knife blades/

D2 - 1.5% C, 11.0–13.0% Cr; additionally 0.45% Mn, 0.030% P, 0.030% S, 1.0% V, 0.9% Mo, 0.30% Si

G-10 is a high-pressure fiberglass laminate, a type of composite material. It is created by stacking multiple layers of glass cloth, soaking in epoxy resin, and compressing the resulting material under heat until the epoxy cures.
