This unique one of a kind, solid aluminum train set, was made by a machinist /mechanic in 1999, each individual car is initialed A.E.D.  and dated on the bottom, some parts such as the wheels and axles are connected with Allen screws but the larger sections like the base of the locomotive and the body itself and the caboose are solid blocks aluminum, anybody that knows anything about machining would know this is a time consuming project and the fit and finish of this set is all extremely high quality and made to last forever, all cars hitched together with pins which you can see in the pictures.... all the cars are similar in weight, quite heavy, locomotive is on the scale and shows the weight of it, look at all the pictures it shows the condition and the quality of this item, you will receive all five cars just as shown in this sale, don't think you'll find anything quite as unique as this as far as train sets go
