Product Description

When the stock rubber bushings are exposed to harsh Racing environments they can tear, harden, become brittle and start to break down, allowing the front differential to move excessively. This can then cause the front half axles and propeller shaft to be at extreme angles while trying to transfer power to the wheels, causing reduction of power at the wheels, excessive wear and premature failure of these components. This ultimately also causes a knock sounding jolt when shifting from P or R to D or vice versa as the differential rotates and slams against the chassis.

This auction is for the Super Duty version of our sturdy front differential bushing set. It has special inserts and proprietary blend compound to make it suitable for extreme driving environments like extreme heat, desert racing, drag racing, rock crawling, and extreme, enthusiastic driving conditions. It will also have much longer service life under normal driving conditions than our long life Sturdy Bushing set.

It does, however, transmit more, yet tolerable levels of NVH to the driver due to its hybrid design and the special polyurethane compound used. The transverse insert mount comes with a zerk fitting that will need to be drilled for after being mounted into its assembly. It is designed to be internally greased in order to clean its internals from dirt, saltwater or other abrasive contaminants found in extreme driving conditions. The components of this set are designed to work in harmony together, so they are offered as a full set and not as their own individual components.

This bushing set, will reduce most excessive movements of the front differential and will minimize the problems that it can potentially cause.

Made of high quality hybrid blend of polyurethane and other materials with solid steel hardware, these bushings will not only firm up the front axle assembly and eliminate that mushy feel associated with the factory rubber bushings, but they will also have a very long service life compared to their OEM rubber counterparts, reducing future labor costs and vehicle down time.

Each bushing in the Super Duty family of products comes pre or easily lubricated, preassembled and ready to mount into the differential. Once installed, servicing is required and occasional greasing will be required, which is easily accessible.

Note: The insert part for the front mount is made to exact OEM measurements. It is made to fit into Mopar's OEM bracket. If your front mount is not Mopar (Crown, Dorman, ....etc) it may not fit.
