DESCRIZIONE
La camomilla romana (Chamaemelum nobile o Anthemis Nobilis) è una pianta
erbacea perenne della famiglia delle Asteraceae.
Cresce in terreni aridi o ai margini di giardini e terreni coltivati.
Presenta fiori bianchi molto simili a margherite, foglie piumose alterne bipennate. I
capolini si elevano fino a 30cm di altezza, la fioritura avviene
all'inizio dell'estate.
Sebbene molto simile alla Matricaria Chamomilla, le sue proprietà e composizione
chimica sono molte diverse.
I fiori essiccati vengono utilizzati per la cura di capelli e della pelle.
La camomilla romana viene utilizzata anche per aromatizzare cibi, bevande,
cosmetici e profumi. Possiede proprietà sedative, antispasmodiche, antinfiammatorie, antisettiche, antimicrobiche.
Viene utilizzata per attenuare gli spasmi e i dolori, per agevolare la digestione, per la cura dell'insonnia, per ansia e stress, mal di denti e mal di testa.

It has white flowers very similar to daisies, alternate bipinnate feathery leaves. The flower heads rise up to 30cm in height, flowering occurs at the beginning of summer.
Although very similar to Matricaria Chamomilla, its properties and chemical composition are very different.
The dried flowers are used for hair and skin care.
Roman chamomile is also used to flavor foods, drinks, cosmetics and perfumes. It has sedative, antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antimicrobial properties.
It is used to relieve spasms and pain, to facilitate digestion, to treat insomnia, for anxiety and stress, toothache and headaches.
