Here I have a small solid wood rustic design garden bench handmade by myself.
It has been constructed from solid timber mainly left over from my past projects.
The bench seat has actually been constructed from a piece of timber my grandfather had in his garden for years. It was quite weathered looking but completely solid with no rot whatsoever.
It was a heavy & dense small piece of timber & I liked the character / grain pattern / knots / knot holes etc... & thought it would make a nice rustic garden bench seat top. I have had it sitting in my workshop for a few years now so thought it was high time I made good use of it.
All the timber used has been sanded to a smooth finish & the completed bench treated to 2 coats of OSMO Natural Oil Woodstain 732 Light Oak. This is a very good quality, durable & weather resistant exterior woodstain.
The bench measures approximately 74cm long, 45cm high with a seat depth of 18cm.
The small dimensions making it an ideal size bench to place by your front / back door to be able to sit on & comfortably take off your muddy footwear before entering your house.
It is fully assembled ready for you to place in your desired location.
Due to the size & weight of the bench postage would most likely be quite expensive (and I don't have any appropriate packaging materials) so I have listed it for collection only from West Kingsdown close to Brands Hatch, TN15.
