It has been constructed from solid timber mainly left over from my past projects.

The bench seat has actually been constructed from a piece of timber my grandfather had in his garden for years. It was quite weathered looking but completely solid with no rot whatsoever.

It was a heavy & dense small piece of timber & I liked the character / grain pattern / small splits etc... & thought it would make a nice rustic garden bench seat top. I have had it sitting in my workshop for a few years now so thought it was high time I made good use of it.

The legs are offcuts from unused planed rounded edge treated redwood fence posts.

All the timber used has been sanded to a smooth finish & the completed bench treated to 2 coats of OSMO Natural Oil Woodstain  732 Light Oak on the bench seat & the base has been finished in OSMO One Coat Only HS Plus 9271 Ebony.

Both these OSMO products are very good quality, durable & weather resistant exterior woodstains.

The bench measures approximately 100cm long, 55cm high with a seat depth of 17cm.

The small dimensions making it an ideal size bench to place by your front / back door to be able to sit on & comfortably take off your muddy footwear before entering your house.

It is fully assembled ready for you to place in your desired location.

Due to the size & weight of the bench postage would most likely be quite expensive (and I don't have any appropriate packaging materials) so I have listed it for collection only from West Kingsdown close to Brands Hatch, TN15.
