Yeah I guess I didn’t ride enough this winter to be fitting the size 30, I had the last version in 28 and they fitted a little small but it was ok the new ones waist does not stretch so they are still fitting a little small for now. Quality shouldn’t be something I have to worry about at this price point but time will tell. One last thing I didn’t

Love the flexibility of these shorts. They move with your body and they don't your restrict movement. Keeps moisture and dirt off easy. By far the best mountain biking shorts I have worn over the last 20 plus years. Length is perfect. Most mountain biking baggy shorts are too long and hang down past my knees. Was a little surprised by the cut which seems to have changed alot since last year. A much more fitted cut then relaxed. Still excellent quality and looks but a snug fit for sure. For riders with muscular legs these might feel a bit restrictive. Why the change in fit?, Must be the latest trend.

For the past 15 years i've worn a size 32 in all fox mtb shorts, they always fit below the knee and somewhat baggy. These shorts fit way above the knee and are very very tight (and I'm still the same size i always was)
These are not a mountain bike friendly cut, I'd say more like a modern hipster board short.
