Gauge cluster disassembled, cleaned, inspected, bench tested.

Chrome bezels found on early 1950s automobiles are usually in poor condition due to thin or nickel-free chrome plating as mandated by the US Government due to the Korean War (aka Korean War Chrome). This bezels chrome finish has a dull shine. It needs to be rechromed. Rated as driver quality condition.

Glass lens cleaned, polished. No cracks, breaks. No noticeable scratches.

Cluster face colors, lettering, numbers, markings in very good condition.

Bench tested Amp gauge by applying a voltage. Needle reacts and moves on gauge confirming electrical continuity.

The Temp gauge was not bench tested but the capillary tube shows no damage and since it passively transfers heat to the gauge through the tube, I see no reason why it would not work but I make no guarantee it will work.

Hard to find a gauge with an intact capillary tube

I have provided an honest assessment of the clusters current condition and due to its decades old age and unknown history, I make no guarantees.

Sold in AS IS condition.
