Switch is still in its original wrapping, item will be opened and inspected before shipping.  Taken from packaging dated 1952. Porcelain base with brown plastic top. The top looks black in the photos, but is a deep, glossy, luxurious brown color. These style switches normally mount on the surface of a wall. Switch mechanism is a positive, snap-action spring design. Sold as a novelty item only.

Marking on side of brown top says G.E. CO. MADE IN U.S.A. 1/2HP. 125V. 10A. 250V. UND. LAB. INC. INSP.
