A: If the UV module is enabled, UV disinfection can disable the virus. If the UV
module is not activated, only normal activated carbon and hollow fiber membrane filtration are used, with limited virus removal.
Q: Why doesn't the UV module indicator light up when I connect my power bank and turn on the switch?
A: Must use a power bank with PD protocol (12W, 10-24V) and a PD activation cable to power the UV module.
Q: Can this system reduce the TDS value of the water?
A: This system cannot lower the TDS value of the water. If you need to lower the TDS value, please purchase our RO filtration products.
Q: How often does this system require filter replacement?
A: The lifespan of each filter is 3000 gallons, and we provide three filters in total. However, this also depends on the quality of water you are using. We
recommend backwashing the filters when the flow rate slows down.
Q: Why is the power indicator light on at the switch of my product, but the UV module working indicator light is not on? Is the UV module working at
this time?
A: No. When the UV module is working, the indicator light on the UV module must be on. If the power indicator light is on at the switch but the UV module
indicator light is not on, it means that the low voltage protection or overtime protection has been activated. Please refer to the instruction manual to restart
it (refer to the operating instructions).
Q: Why is the water flow from the filter elements so slow?
A: The CB+UF filter product has a high filtration accuracy and intercepts most impurities, resulting in slow water flow. The theoretical flow rate is between
0.01-0.05GPM. When the flow rate is very low, it is recommended to fill the upper chamber with water or backwash the filter elements or replace to the
new filter elements.
