Here's one you don't come across every day. I've been buying and selling dolls for over 20 years and this is one I've never come across before. This little bisque head German doll has everything going for it an antique German doll collector could want. Closed mouth, character face, gorgeous brown sleep flirty eyes and a unique 9" small size. Marked Demacol 5/0 (mold number) Germany. This little doll will need to have her sleep eyes reset. Unfortunately, the plaster that holds her sleep eyes in came lose. I was able to get a picture of her before this happen. I've repaired these in larger dolls but this one is too small for me to work with. This is a valuable enough doll to be done at a good doll hospital. There are no cracks or hairlines to her head. However, I do see a small factory firing line around the top rim of her head. See pictures. She has her original human wig and pate. Her composition body is in pretty nice condition. Her dress was stiched on but I got pics of most of her composition body. She will also need to be restrung.
