Old Romanian traditional skirt. It is hand woven and decorated with handmade lace around hem and it has been around for over 50 years.
The handmade fabric is medium thick containing a mix of cotton and flax threads and because of that the skirt is suitable for Romanian traditional clothing from Oltenia , Muntenia and Transylvania
The skirt has a length of 75 cm (29.5") and a maximum circumference of 200 cm (78.8 "). This is universal size.
It has an elastic waistband, which replaced the old hemp string used in past times.
The traditional skirt is in good condition, with no visible defects.
