This auction is for a lovely vintage Indian tribal folk art piece from the Dhokra Bastar region. This example is of a mother & child in a tall slender design. Cast from solid bronze with fabulous brass hi-light wear patination. This piece comes direct from a recent estate sale & is sold in superb as found vintage condition. No chips, No cracks or repairs of any kind. Overall in fabulous displayable condition. This stunning statue would make for a wonderful addition to any room setting & displays very nicely indeed. It's style & design is typical of it's period & would date nicely to the mid 20th century.
