FASHIONED OF A BLACK TAFFETA GROUND THAT IS COMPLETELY COVERED IN BLACK SEQUINS WITH LARGE LAPELS.
SINGLE HOOK AND EYE CLOSES THE CENTER FRONT. LINED IN TAFFETA.
LABELED MONTGOMERY WARD.
CONDITION: THIS PIECE WAS ALTERED IN THE PERIOD WITH SEQUIN GUSSET ADDITIONS BENEATH EACH ARM AND A PANEL RUNNING DOWN THE CENTER BACK. I ORIGINALLY DID NOT NOTICE THE ADDITIONAS AS THE SEQUINS ARE ONLY SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT AND THE ONLY TELLING SIGN IS THE INNER JACKET AND GUSSET STITCHING REMOVED.
SMALL UNNOTED ABSENT SEQUIN LOSS IS COMPLETELY UNSEEN, HAS TO BE INTENSELY EXAMINED TO FIND THE TINY, SMALL SPOTS.
