Vintage Chinese Export Famille Rose ‘Butterfly Pattern’ Plate @26cm

Excellent, clean and undamaged condition. Minor faults:

*loss of paint of 1 cm in the red band surrounding the centre of plate

* minor loss of gold banding

*tiny surface nibble on rim of base - negligible

Beautifully hand painted in multicoloured enamel of flowers and butterflies over a white porcelain background, collage of butterflies on outer edge of the plate are enclosed with gold gilded banding , also gold gilding in and among the butterflies.

Red circle back stamp as per last picture.

Exact date of manufacture unknown, possibly 1950s or earlier.

Made in China.

Measures 2.5x26x15.5cm .
