The Afghan cap was part of the uniform of the Soviet army. The caps were made according to the Soviet model - with a short visor and a wide strip of fabric with buttons that covered the neck, cheeks and mouth.
This design made it possible to wear the cap in three versions. With raised ears, with lowered and with a fastened strip of fabric that covered the entire face except the eyes.
