This vintage Native American/Indian doll is a wonderful example of the types of items made by the Regal Toy Co. Canada in the 1960s and 1970s.

Dressed in handcrafted chamois suede buckskins and a beaded top with traditional design trim, the headband matches the trim on the sleeves and has multi-colored feathers tucked inside. The moccasins also are the same material as the headband. The long black hair is pulled back in traditional Native American/Indian styling.

A plastic stand is included and the doll stands upright better if the back of the heels are placed on the raised piece. The arms are jointed and can be fashioned, but the legs are not jointed.

The doll is in excellent vintage preowned condition with no damage or unpleasant odors noted, and it has been kept in a smoke free home.

Purchased from an estate sale, the original tag from Canadiana Trading, with a price of $39.95 on the inside, is attached to the wrist.  The doll will be shipped in the box with tissue paper as it was purchased and as shown in the photos.
