WW1 French Horizon Blue Artillery Tunic for sale. Leading up and early in the First World War, the French uniform had hardly changed since the Franco-Prussian war. That was until 1915 when they introduced the horizon blue colours. This tunic belonged to a solider in the artillery and has 7 buttons, each bearing crossed cannons. Comes with a medal bar, consisting of the medal bars for the medaille militaire and the Croix de Guerre. The inside of the uniform bears a number of different markings that are unfortunately difficult to read.

The uniform is overall in good shape. It shows worn condition but a good worn. There are a number of moth holes on the uniform but despite this it is in nice condition. The inside shows signs of wear and staining but expected for its age.
