Our High-Performance Premium underlay is a multi-purpose non-skid underlay pad. It can be used on fitted wall-to-wall carpet or on smooth flooring surfaces. To obtain maximum satisfaction and the best results with this please follow the installation procedures below:

RUG on fitted wall-to-wall carpet: 

1. Cut about 1″-3″ smaller than the rug to be installed.
2. Then simply place the rug on top of the underlay.

RUG on all Hard Floors:

1. Cut about 1″-3″ smaller than the rug to be installed.
2. Then Simply place the rug on top of the underlay.

Cutting:

The High-Performance underlay can be easily cut with scissors or a utility knife.

Oversized Rugs:

If several pieces of the underlay are necessary for one rug, simply apply as many pieces as needed, side-by-side. Taping or splicing is NOT necessary.

In some cases the rug is not heavy enough to weigh the underlay down with its weight then the underlay although sticks to the carpet or other floor underneath thanks to gravity but the rug above can still move because it is not getting the grip of the underlay due to lack of weight and in this instance you may have to attach the underlay to the backing of the rug either using some kind of glue or stitching so that it can prevents the rug from shifting or moving off the underlay.
