This approximately 125-year-old photograph measures 6.5x5, with the cardboard it measures 9.5x 7.5. It is in very good condition with the exception that it originally had a front cover. A heavy tissue paper has been guarding this photo. There is some light yellowing of age.

The photographer is Yamamoto, although it appears to be Y. Yamamoto - see photos 4 and 8.

The photo depicts 9 workers on scaffolding rebuilding a damaged building.
