Set of 5 misc. late 1800's to early 1900's glass perfume oil bottles. Screw or cork cap, original paper labels & contents in some
Fixolar Fleurs #1 - nearly full - heavy floral scent, bottle is 2 1/2 inches tall, label reads "Felton Chemical co., Brooklyn NY"
Tergitol Wetting Agent - 2/3 full - Not sure how this was used in perfumery, but was included in a bulk of bottles I've had for 20 years. 3 1/4 inches tall, 1 1/4 in square bottle
Oil Ambrette Seed-Heine & Co. A.G. Leipzig New York 1/8 oz - this bottle is empty, it became uncorked and leaked while in storage.
Fixar Olitrabanurm - That's all that's on the label, small bottle, stands 2 1/4 inches tall, 1/2 inch side to side. Cork is stuck in bottle, so can't tell what the oil smells like
I have several other listings for old chemist perfumebottles, some with original contents. Ipurchased these over 20 years ago off eBay from an appraiser at an antiquestore in New Jersey. I saved theoriginal listings for reference. All ofmy descriptions and notes on these listings are from these original notes andinformation I got from the seller. Shetold me the collections were rare, old and some imported. They originated from a chemist &perfumist, Eugene Vellner, from Philadelphia PA. He made perfumes in the late 1800’s to theearly 1900’s for prestigious department stores. I can’t find much information on Eugene Vellner, although I have foundreference that he was a member of the Pennsylvania Academy of Science as achemist and colorist.
These are sold as is. I will tape down the caps before shipping, and will package carefully. I will always combine shipping if youpurchase multiple listings from me. J
