Peridot is composed of magnesium, iron, and silicon, with the chemical formula (Mg,Fe)2SiO4.

This peridot is an extremely dispersive gemstone due to its clarity and cut.

This is not your standard faceting, the bottom of the gemstone has small thin indentation grooves, while the top of the gemstone has been fascinated with a standard faceting machine by hand.

3.15 CT makes this a large solitaire, ideal for a high end piece of jewellery.

Peridot is volcanic and lays dormant very deep in the earth’s crust, over 40 km down in the earth. These gemstones are thrown out with immense force,heat and pressure.

Only around 1 in 100 Peridot crystals can be faceted, As only the cleanest, gem grade gemstones can be used for jewelry.
