Sir Eric Norman Spencer Crankshaw (1885-1966) was an English cricketer, military officer and civil servant who worked closely with Winston Churchill during both world wars.

In 1929, when Churchill was Chancellor of the Exchequer, he selected Crankshaw to become Secretary of the Government Hospitality Fund.

Crankshaw was also a first-class cricketer, and played one match for Gloucestershire in 1909. In 1903 when playing for Eton against Harrow at Lord's he scored a century.
