Old Used Omax Quartz Battery Watch -

Made From Hematite Polished Crystal Stone ?

DESCRIPTION This is an old used Omax battery watch and strap as shown. The watch comes with no papers, box etc, the age is unknown. The total length of the strap is approx 195mm The watch had a new battery fitted on 25th June 2023 and it seems to keep good time. The watch has a heavy, quality feel to it. There are 3 arrows on the inside of the strap in both sections. The text on the back battery case reads "Omax Since 1946 Stainless Steel Back Made In China HB793." I am not sure what the watch is made from, i am told that it is some kind of hematite crystal, advice very welcome. I was unable to take a photo of the inside of the watch when the battery was changed. I was told that the inside's were clean.

CONDITION I will leave you to decide; please look at the photos carefully. I think the general condition is good collectable for the age. As you can see in the photos, there are light scratch, user, handling & storage marks etc. The watch is no longer water resistance because a new battery has been fitted. The look could be improved with a careful clean.
