A slick 1940s mystery novel in a nice hardcover from William Morrow, this is a great buddy-detective novel of murder and missing persons, with a dash of humor and a lot of good old-fashioned soft-boiled detecting.
Good condition with minor shelf/reading wear, minor rubbing/chipping/tears to dustjacket, protected in mylar. Excellent pages and binding. Really fantastic shape for the age and production materials, a very rare find in this condition!
