Handmade portable fingerboard with tulip wood rungs / holds.
40cm width with 20mm and 15mm depth rungs.  The board is a simple flip board design so you can quickly switch between the two edge sizes.
Tulip wood gives ideal texture, comfort and durability.  As such, it is widely recognised as the best material to use for climbing holds and training edges.  The rails are mounted securely to a hardwood ply base so the board overall is of very robust and durable construction (will easily take 150kg+).

The rails have a generous and accurately machined rounded profile radius making for comfortable hangs that are very easy on the skin.  Rails can be hung one or two handed in any grip position including crimp, half-crimp, open handed drag, two finger drag, monos, etc.

The board can be used at different angles of incut depending how the cord is clipped.  The simplest set-up is to clip the cord where it's knotted alone - this gives a fairly neutral though slightly incut angle on the rungs when loaded allowing for comfortable and consistent hangs that aren't overly conditions or skin dependent.  The level of incut can be reduced by clipping the cord on both sides of the board or by using larks foot type set up (see photos).

Ideal for:
-fingerboard training anywhere you can get the board hung up securely
-getting fingers recruited before a redpoint
-generally as part of a warm up at the crag

As well as a 'pull down' hangboard/fingerboard, this type of board also works as a 'pull up' pick-up style board.  Ideally paired with a loading pin and weights when used like this or with bungees/resistance bands or even just clipped to a sling that you stand in to provide resistance.  The outside edges of the board can also be held using a pinch grip - gives a wide pinch grip training option.

Board comes ready to go with a length of 4mm static cord.
