Documented to designer Archimede Seguso, circa 1950s. Created in the "Incalmo" technique, which attaches one piece of glass to another. The thick rim around the bowl is a made in clear glass with controlled "Bullicante" bubbles technique. The inside of the bowl is made with a dark pink glass, and is filled with gold leaf throughout. The direct sunlight on some of the photos makes it look more red than pink, but it is pink. Would make a great display piece on any desk, dresser or coffee table. Use it as a catchall, ring or candy dish. Mid-century era. Condition is excellent for a vintage piece. Measures: center approximately 2” dep, opening is 2.5” diameter bowl is approximately 4.75” wide 2 .75" high.
