Beautiful Evans "Tap Sift" compact and

Perfume Atomizer Evans Atarmist Unique Vintage Gift Set.

This very rare and stunning perfume atomizer was made by Evans in the 1930s and was part of the Atarmist series! This very unique design is petite and looks a bit like a cigarette lighter. When the top portion is twisted, it swivels up to reveal the atomizer pump and mechanism inside along with a screw top perfume reservoir. The front features art deco chrome engine turned designs and a lovely black enamel floral and urn center piece.

The pump action is working, and then it is able to close and lock with a simple push and twist. I have not tried to fill this with perfume, but I can feel just a bit of air coming out when it is pumped.

Measures 1 7/8" x 1 3/8 x 5/8"

This piece is in good vintage condition. The silver metal is super shiny, and the enamel is in wonderful condition. The box is only the bottom half and shows some wear.
