This 4-bay Drobo provides utterly reliable storage. I used this unit to store all more than 150,000 family photos that I couldn?t afford to lose. This Drobo unit contains four 2-Terabyte drives for a total of 8 TB resulting in 5.2 Terabytes of usable space. This allows for foolproof operation even if one drive fails.

In the unlikely event should any drive go bad, front panel lights will indicate which drive needs replacing. Drives are hot-swappable; that is, you can replace a bad drive with a new one without affecting its operation.

This unit comes with AC power supply and USB cable. This Drobo is formatted and ready for use out of the box.
